We had such a great response to our Digital Art Files blog post last week, that we decided to do another one. But this time show you how to buy, cut, and apply a digital art file. Scroll down to see how!

You Need:

• Digital Cut File
• Cutting Machine – we used a Silhouette Machine
• Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV)
• Heat Press

Step 1 – Find your favorite digital cut file.

Step 2 –  Click the image and add it to your cart.

Step 3 – Purchase the design file.

Step 4 – Head to your email to download your file.

Step 5 – Open your design file and import it into your design software.

Step 6 – Resize your design to fit your shape

Step 7 – Get ready to cut. Before you send your design to your cutting machine, make sure you insert your HTV, and mirror your design.

Step 8 – Cut and weed your design.

Step 9 – Place the HTV on your garment and press with your heat press!

Step 10 – Admire your results!

If you never used a Heat Transfer before, they are easy to apply. All you need is the heat transfer, a heat press, and your blank! 

Lay the heat transfer on your garment, press it with your heat press according to the instructions listed online, and peel the backing paper off of your design. Your finished product will be ready to go in about 15 seconds.

We carry about 100 breast cancer heat transfer designs in various media types (screenprint, rhinestones/studs, lace, and glitter).

1 – Design your image and send it to your Sublimation Printer

2 – Cut down the design so that it fits on  your skinny tumbler

3 – Turn your heat press on so that it starts to heat up

4- Twist the lid off of your skinny tumbler

5- With heat-resistant tape, tape your design to your sublimation blank

6 – Place it into the mug press heating element

6 – Take out and peel while hot – use these gloves to protect your hands

7 – Admire your results
